We have known this place for many years and these guys generally provide rather nice food for pick-up (15% discount!) and delivery at a reasonable price. Their seafood soup, mu-shu pork, noodles are as good if not better as what you would get in chinatown. For delivery they always read their orders for special requests (like less sweet) and this is what you will receive. The restaurant is tiny and will not win any prizes for decor, but you can not have everything. In the restaurant the half crispy chicken is quite good.
Man Li has been a fixture on the West Island for excellent Chinese Food - prepared to North American Tastes. Starting with either a Won Ton Soup or a Hot & Sour Soup leads to a few Egg Rolls - with Plum Sauce of course. Then you have a really wide variety of main dishes you can shoots from that are always served Hot & Tasty. General Tao’s… Beef & Broccoli… “Shanghai Style Noodles - Vegetarian Style… and of course Steamed Rice and your dinner for 2,3 or even 4 is complete.
tried them for first time, and will never go back to my regular restaurant (Maison Kam)! service was quick + courteous (a rare feat) I've been dreaming of the pineapple chicken since last week, it was so bloody amazing. Also the general tao, and the eggrolls, etc. WOW but WOW I've got a new love!
What a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and very fresh. Portions are generous and service for delivery was pretty quick. I recommend Man Li to everyone I know. I ate the shrimps in lobster sauce and beef in black bean sauce and Hanoi dumplings. Liked it so much I'm ordering again today!
Known for take-out - OK on most dishes, except In our order, we found the beef on this night was super rubbery and 90% of it was unchewable and not tenderized. Overall take-out reasonably priced, and Man Li is popular around the area, becoming quite busy. You also get 15% off if your order is over $20 and you pick it up yourself.
